Hi, I'm Holly.

I'm an experienced, hands on non-fiction editor who enjoys working on manuscripts at all stages of the publishing process, whether it’s big picture structural amends on a first draft or the nitty gritty finishing touches ahead of going to print.

Having spent the last five years commissioning, desk editing and assisting in a big five publisher, I’ve worked on a wide variety of narratives. As a freelancer, I'm open to all kinds of projects, but I have a particular penchant for books about nature, culture, feminism, queerness, animals, politics, history, identity and big ideas. I love genre-blending narratives, too. Above all, I seek out books that teach me something new about the world and our place in it.
